Tasting Notes

Lively and attractive nose with fragrances of blossoms, citrus and some young white peach The palate is nicely structured with a juicy mouthfeel and balanced acidity, contrasting richer butter and brioche notes.

Nivarius means ‘névé’, a natural well where the snow is preserved throughout the year. It gives the name to the wines because the vineyards are located at an altitude of 800 metres, north-facing. Due to the low temperature, the grapes stand out for their acidity, freshness and fruity taste, key factors to guarantee the quality of the unique white wines. Nivarius is the first winery of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin (DOCa) which produces white wines of excellent quality.
