Tasting Notes

Aromas of nectarine, pear, orange oil, and papaya, enhanced by herbal fragrances of jasmine, lavender, and rose. The palate is crisp, fragrant, well-balanced, with a medium body, with flavors of yellow pear, apricot, rose, lychee, and fresh herbs, with a fruity and clean finish

Edoardo Miroglio winery is an impressive 220 hectares of vineyards in the center of Bulgaria in the village of Elenovo in the Thracian Valley. This region, once known as Thrace, is where the origins of winemaking date back to the cult of Dionysus. In 2002, Miroglio decided to establish one of the most modern wineries in Bulgaria is this region, and the winery conducted its first production in October of 2005. With the idea of combining Italian know-how in the development of vineyards and oenology with the excellent Piedmontese tradition, the overall process for the production of wines is controlled by a group of Italian and Bulgarian oenologists led by the world's famous oenologist Marco Monchiero. The Bio line of wines are all certified organic blends, made with minimal sulfites, and aged in stainless steel. The soft texture of Viognier combines with the floral and perfumed nature of Traminer to make a light bodied, easy drinking white that has a ton of charming aromas and is simply fun to drink.
