Tasting Notes

Fruit notes of golden apple, baking spices, overripe pears, and crushed rock. The palate is deliciously fruity and expressive, with loads of pear, apple, and a unique finish of jasmine and orchard blossoms.

Chenin Blanc is a versatile white-wine grape variety that has been cultivated in France for nearly 1300 years. It is most commonly associated with France's Loire Valley, and its high acidity levels mean it can be vinified in a number of different styles. The Western Cape is home to the vast majority of the South African wine industry, and the country's two most famous wine regions, Stellenbosch and Paarl.
